Not only are we working with the animals in our homes, but those left behind fuel our actions and drive us to push the limits of our creativity and problem-solving skills. We simply can’t settle for excuses. We have to find a way. We often make promises to those still in the shelter that we will be back to get them. We just hope that it is not too late.
