We Live to Love

It’s early in the morning and many of us are still sound asleep. Others are waiting in a long line to get an expensive cup of coffee to start their day. In the world of animal rescue, coffee time is a special time to spend with foster animals.

The house is quiet and for some cats who have recently been rescued from a shelter environment, they begin to trust the still hours and the lap that welcomes them. Trust in humans is once again established and feel-good brushing and chin rubs are enjoyed.

The quiet morning is interrupted with purrs and the human smile meets the rising morning sun. Fostering shelter animals is a true gift.
